this may go down as the blog written with the most amount of people around me. i’m sitting in the coffee shop at hume and really just felt like i should put something in here today. usually, i’m much more introverted about this kind of thing. in fact, it’s rare that my wife even sees what i’ve written until it’s completely done. so this feels a little weird. weird in the sense that i don’t feel like i can get too personal or anything. i’ll try though.
this weekend has been good and semi-lonely. good in that the kids are really getting into the music. so much so that last night was the first time i really looked forward to playing on a night other than concert night. so the concert tonight should be pretty slammin. it’s been a little lonely only because my wife’s couldn’t come up this weekend. when she does come up the unfortunate position she takes fairly often is that of “person i unload on.” so i’ve gone without that this weekend. not to mention that for whatever reason it almost always works out that she’s here on rough weekends and not here on really good ones. so far it’s been a good weekend for both of us and we’ve had little time to talk to each other, so when we see each other sunday night it’s going to take a while for all of us to tell our stories to each other. but i’m really excited for that. i like talking to her.
