overcoming average(?)

because it’s something the world just needs less of

small update

with one comment

i have been absent from the blogging world for at least a week. i say “blogging world” like there’s this whole world of people who read my blog, but we all know the truth. but i wrote that i have something to say and dammit if i’m gonna be kept from saying it. hopefully as time goes by i’ll start to figure out what it is my life is trying to say. i know it’s there, i just don’t know how to put it out there yet. anyway. time for the small update. since i last wrote, amanda has begun her awesome job, our good friends david and kristen have welcomed little zoe into their lives, and me and amanda have moved into our new apartment in downtown riverside (corner of university and pine). we’ve moved, but this place isn’t quite “home” just yet. we have yet to settle in really. part of that is that we haven’t had time to unpack really, but part of that is the manager’s fault too. long story there. i’ll cut it short: this is an older building and some things needed to be fixed and obviously needed to be fixed but were in fact not fixed. it’s getting there though.

the blog absence might continue for a little while. i’m home for another week, then i’m in el paso for a week, then i’m home for a week, then i’m in ecuador for two weeks. in the mean time, if you don’t hear from me, i recommend you dust off your charlie brown christmas album and take a listen when it’s less about christmas and more about the awesome
