The Moreno Valley Target store: you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Here’s a few small observations from a very long (or maybe it just seemed that way) visit this afternoon.
– You will have manslaughter attempted on you in the parking lot, accidental or not. On the way in today, an SUV backed into the parking spot next to us while we were getting things out of the car. He almost hit us and didn’t even have the common decency to look me in the eye while I stared him down. On the way out, I dodged five other cars attempting to back into the side of my car.
– Also in the parking lot, you will be asked to give money to or buy something for someone in said lot. Today, it was the deaf guy with the six kids at the Days Inn. No judgement, I just know some people can’t stand that.
– I couldn’t possibly care less about the use of profanity, but if you do I would recommend staying away from about half of the employees. Even I have common sense enough to maybe put the alley talk aside while working and with several customers in immediate earshot.
– You should be warned that if you have a question about something, it will absolutely take at least two more employees and several more minutes to get an answer.

That’s really all that happened, but I was in a bit of a bad mood by the time all this transpired and I figured these everydaymay posts could use a bit of mirth.
