This one’s coming a little late in the day, but I’m ok with that. I had two different conversations today with two different guys in very different spots in their lives. As different as those conversations were, I felt very similarly after each of them. Both of these conversations were places were I could really be honest with the other person.

It’s really amazing and rare to find people like that. A lot of times people are very comfortable with sharing a very small portion of themselves with anyone else. I think there’s a fear that when they really get to you know you, they’ll run, especially when it comes to things that people have strong opinions about. Also, it’s good to not share 100% of yourself to 100% of people. We’re supposed to guard our hearts. That’s why it was so refreshing today that I could be truly open and not worry about feeling judged or like I was going to regret it later.

Anyway, brief post and technically not today, but there it is. Tomorrow my son turns four months old. They grow up so fast.
